What on earth is a Fforde Ffiesta, other than a car, I hear you ask?

The Fforde Ffiesta is a weekend of silliness inspired by the works of Jasper Fforde. It is held in Swindon, UK (the home of Thursday Next from Jasper's books).

Why would I want to attend a weekend of dedicated silliness? Well, here’s why…

Jasper is a big part of the events.  He gives a reading from one of his books - one yet to be published - does a question and answer session, narrates the bus tour, sits on the judging panels and conducts the auction as well as taking part in some of the other events.  In addition he is around for virtually the whole weekend and mingles with the attendees.

Whether you’ve come to learn more about us, or simply got a bit lost in the world wide web, you’re very welcome.
